I visited the Pheasant on route to our hotel in shrewsbury for our girls road trip, despite current restrictions in place the pub has a lovely atmosphere and you can really feel the hard work going into the place from staff members, very polite greeting and fast and cheery service, also great selection of gins! Me and the girls were very pleased. It's not often you see pub landlords about but Dave introduced himself answered any questions we had about the area and made us feel so welcome during our short stop! The drinks are superb, always a friendly face when go in. It’s clean to a high standard the staff are always cleaning tables after customers have left, and tidying up. A lot of big screens to watch the sport can have two games on at once so can’t complain. Lots of seating outside. I must say the staff are brilliant at what they do, Hannah is always pleasant and asks how I am before serving the drink, she seems a very friendly genuine lady who knows her drinks. Thank you to all at the pheasant for working hard through this hard time.
Love this pub, visit here when I’m free and off work. Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. Beer is great, brilliant pint of Stella always spot on. Dave the Landlord looks after every single persons needs and is a brilliant landlord, nothing is too much for him or his staff. I also feel very safe in her with the new COVID-19 guidelines and procedures as him and his team make sure everyone abides by the rules. Top notch team Phez welldone
Excellent pub . Bar staff always helpful and friendly . Landlord frequently goes above and beyond to help his customers and the wider community. The newly refurbished 'Dog House ' function room is stunning. Lots of outside seating in the courtyard.

I visited the pheasant from out of town with friends. Was made to feel welcome and was a very safe atmosphere. The price were fantastic and the beer tasted perfect
Drinks are very reasonably priced and the manager dave can't do enough for you. Outside smoking area is heated with a big screen. Great gin choice
