How fortunate some discoveries are. Philinos was recommended to me whilst I was having my hair cut on holiday in Montreal by the lady who owned the salon (Thanks Sherry). What a great recommendation that turned out to be, and the haircut too, by the way.It was quiet, when we went, as we were booked to see a show at 8, so we arrived about 5.30 Unsurprisingly, there were only a few tables occupied so early in the evening. This is by far the best Greek restaurant in Montreal. The prices are reasonable, the service is impeccable and the food is always fresh, cooked to perfection. The staff is very polite, courteous and have excellent customer service. If you are looking for a night out with friends or just with a loved one, you will never be disappointed here in this friendly, down to earth family restaurant.

Visited the Greektown area of Montreal. This restaurant has a lovely vine covered outdoor seating area where the server volunteered to take our picture (suitable for framing)! We had traditional flaming cheese (OPA)! along with Moussaka and Octopus (which my husband said was done right...I'll just take his word for it!). Nice selection of Greek wines and desserts.

Every time I come here, I am amazed quality of service I received. My friends and family have now adopted this restaurant for the incredible atmosphere that it generates.I had them moussaka and calamari for dinner and it was absolutely divine!I get this restaurants five stars for service and creativity of their menu. we were quiet this Sunday noon: the big room for us all alone! scenery of beautiful pictures of black and white films. welcoming service (!!!). Input spreads are delicious and kalamari are perfectly cooked and served generously. Good white wine of the Peloponnese. a good address: we'll go back.

I have been coming here since 2001. Food is outstanding! Best Saganaki,Lamb chops. one can't go wrong with the menu. Fantastic and friendly service. Weekends are busy so one must make a reservation. Definitely one of the best Greek restaurants in Montreal.

I was confident in my choice of dining at this highly rated Greek restaurant with 4 1/2 stars, but to my surprise, I found myself disappointed with the experience. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty.
