Philly Style Steaks And Subs

This is and has been my goto spot for Philly cheesesteaks for decades. They might have moved to the other end of the block, but that just means they have a new kitchen. The place is insanely clean for all the buisness they do. Highly suggest you order for pickup, since if you order when you get there, you could be in for a 20-30minute wait. The philly eggrolls are awesome btw.

This restaurant has been a part of my childhood and continues to be a significant part of my adult life. I've never had a disappointing sandwich here, and I plan to keep coming back! I've never visited Philadelphia, so I can't provide a true comparison to the original, but I firmly believe these are the best cheesesteaks in Norfolk, if not all of Hampton Roads.

Paying $6.44 for a single cheesesteak egg roll is ridiculous, especially since the website shows a picture of two. Additionally, the wheat wrap on my cheesesteak wrap detracted from the overall flavor. We also forked out more than $6 for fries that were advertised as being topped with cheese, bacon, and ranch, but they ended up being just plain fries.

4.5? Not the neatest sub I've ever had but it was quite tasty. Portion size of fries is enough for two. Fast friendly service. Walls are decorated with all sorts of Philly Sports city history to keep you occupied during what was a rather short wait. Over all My Chicken Philly with Mushroom and Provolone was messy but very pleasing to the palate. Reserva una mesa ahora

I was visiting the area for the weekend and Philly Style is always one of the places I visit. My cheese steak was delicious. (Best in the state VA) The folks behind the counter are always friendly and make you feel welcomed. I'm already planning another trip to Norfolk, VA just to get another delicious sub from Philly Style.

08/10/22 I got the philly with mushrooms and the wife got the one with green peppers. Really solid. The bread is great. Lived out Philly for a year and this place is close. Great place. If you have not tried it you should. They don't have wiz though. Or I do not think they do.

Today was my first time eating here and it was so good ! The service was great and my sub was delicious loaded with steak , cheese, fried onions done right and I added sweet peppers, nothing here in Hampton comes close , can't wait to go again. Highly recommend

The egg rolls were burnt, likely due to the restaurant preparing to close in an hour. However, the subs were tasty, and the service was excellent.

Fantastic cheesesteaks! If I closed my eyes, I would swear I was a few hundred miles to the north.
