Looking for a new place to eat, we came here for lunch and noticed that they have a lunch special of either burger/pasta with a soft drink for $13.50. I ordered their lamb burger with haloumi and chorizo which wasn't too bad. I liked their chips that came on the side as it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My work colleague tried their penne but found it too heavy/rich in cream. The cafe looks small from the outside, but we saw many people walking through to the back. So I think there is more seating at the back or upstairs.
It was quite warm inside as they don't have any air conditioning and service was a bit slow at the start but they were very friendly and the lunch deal...

What a great little cafe/bar tucked away in Stanley Street, Darlinghurst. Their breakfast and lunch menu looks tasty. They have plenty of burger, wraps, salad and pasta options. I went the Tokyo burger - delicious wagyu beef pattie, with fresh lettuce and tomato and a slight wasabi aioli - very nice. They have seating both upstairs and downstairs and are a licensed bar as well! The prices for food is reasonable - however their takeaway coffee is too good to beat! Quick, strong and excellently priced at less than $4. Come in to grab some food or just grab a coffee on the run - worth it.

After a couple weeks of trying to find it's place in the local cafe scene, Philosophy is definitely hitting the mark. Great price ($3.30) for a standard coffee, and for the best coffee on the street, that's not bad. Back here frequently for lunch and the delicious burger options.

Just Amazing! Coffee and breakfast to die for! don't look anywhere else for a Sunday Brunch or a work lunch! Kent (the owner) will always look after you like friends without invading your space and the staff is always very friendly!
