I'm not quite sure what's happening with this particular Philz location, but they really need to focus on quality control. The staff seems understaffed, and it often takes 10 minutes or more to receive your drink. I don't understand why they aren't utilizing the nicer front part of the café, which could accommodate more staff, instead opting for the smaller back area. Additionally, the drinks just aren't meeting expectations—they often taste watered down or simply not made correctly. The locations in Hillsdale, Castro, and Burlingame are definitely superior in both atmosphere and drink quality. I wouldnt order through this location. Had to wait around half an hour to get my coffee when it wasnt even busy. People coming in way after me immediately got my coffee and they saw me waiting there for a while. When I asked what was up and where my coffee was (because I was now late to my meeting), they were all confused and then were like "ohhhh its doordash" and then said theyll make it. After Id been waiting half an hour already. Didnt even apologize to me. Didnt even explain to me why they didnt even make it that entire time. Just rude and uncaring. Iced Mint Mojito-not sweet enough for my taste, even though I requested for extra sweet- but it was creamy! Iced Gingersnap has good flavor, but again not sweet enough. This is the first time ive doordashed coffee- love the packaging it comes in when its delivered. Its very secure and stable. Will still order again but request for extra extra sweet lol.
The food and coffee here are quite good. However, whenever I order a large Tesora coffee (EXTRA SWEET, EXTRA CREAMY), it's always warm instead of hot. The staff is doing a fantastic job with the coffee, but I would really love to have a HOT cup instead of just warm. PHIL, could you assist me with that?

Philz Coffee is always good. The baristas here keep it consistent which is appreciate a lot. They're quick is friendly, if I were to work around corner still I'd go to this location.
Each cup at Philz is a delight. While I usually enjoy my coffee black, I opt for light cream and light sugar here, and it really brings out the flavor.
I absolutely love the Iced Mint Mojito, especially the option to customize its sweetness and creaminess!
