Very disappointed with this restaurant. We decided to give it a try because of the great reviews but our experience was not that at all. The minute we walked in the manager or women in charge started yelling at her employees to go sit us down. We took a seat, looked over the menu and when we went to order there was a confusion with one of the orders. The girl that took our order was very nice and sweet. My husband and my dad ordered an oxtail pho with shrimp which the oxtail was an extra $5 and they only gave them 1 piece of oxtails with 3 shrimps. For the prices that they are charging the food wasn’t all that. I also ordered a side of PLAIN fried rice, no veggies, no meat just plain rice it...
We ordered takeout from Pho 135, and when we got home, we found the beef in our Pho was raw. We called the restaurant to address the issue, but they insisted the beef was supposed to be rare and that we needed to cook it ourselves at home. Check out the photo and judge for yourself. They told us that if we wanted fully cooked food, we should have eaten in the restaurant, yet their menu doesn’t mention that customers need to specify how they want their food cooked. The waitress never informed us we'd have to cook our meal ourselves. Why would anyone pay a restaurant to only prepare part of their meal? This is one of my favorites in CT for pho. This place is kind of on a busy street but there's lots of parking and the inside of the restaurant is spacious. There's definitely more take out orders than dine-in, but it makes me feel relaxed to be there.I never have a bad meal here. The pho is great, good flavor and they give a good amount of meat, veggies and in addition the basil. lime and bean sprouts in a small baggie. I think my favorite thing is their fried egg rolls. Passing through the city, I had a great experience at Pho 135. I enjoyed the spring rolls, which were actually summer rolls wrapped in rice paper. The peanut sauce was unique—more herbaceous and a bit tangy. The egg rolls were classic spring rolls and very tasty as well. Although I wasn’t certain about the exact names, the fried dumplings stood out and were delicious with the Thai chili sauce. The pho was excellent, but I wish the menu included more toppings like mint and bean sprouts—be sure to ask for extra. If you want friendly service, fresh ingredients, home made recipes, steaming hot broth and incredible tastes....go to Pho 135. I did the 8lb pho challenge here in December....despite tapping out, I was so impressed with the rich taste of the broth, freshness of veggies, and richness of meat. Pho 135 features a savory broth with incredibly chewy tasty noodles. Their vegetables are always fragrant and crispy. The attention to detail on your order is flawless. I recommend getting a side of chili oil for your pho. This noodle house is definitely on my short lists of go to spots here in Connecticut
I often find myself craving the pho soup from this restaurant. It’s pretty good here—a decent broth and incredibly fresh basil. They offer various bowl sizes and different types of meat to choose from. My only disappointment was the meatballs; I didn’t enjoy them at all. The staff is very friendly, and the service is quick. Overall, it’s a lovely dining experience.
At Pho 135, the beef in the pho is gently cooked by the hot broth, which is how it should be. Anyone who says their beef is raw clearly hasn’t experienced authentic pho before, or at least not properly prepared. We haven’t tried this restaurant’s menu yet, but friends have spoken highly of it. We plan to visit soon and will update our review then.
This is my place for Vietnamese food. Is where I usually meet friends for lunch. The food was absolutely wonderful and the service was excellent. I didn't have the nerve to try the wall of glory? that is where you eat a huge bowl of the Pho in a certain time. I always get the spring rolls. The shaker and the beef are also another treat.

The restaurant didn't have a house special pho. You can choose up to three ingredients to add to your pho, but any additional ingredients will cost extra. The broth leaned towards the sweeter side. The fish, which didn’t appear to be catfish, was cooked with pineapple and a sweet sauce. Unfortunately, the pork chop was a bit dry.
Absolutely Excellent Vietnamese Cuisine. Authentic and it feels like it heals you from the inside out. My personal favorites are the Noodle Bowls!
