There is an abundance of free parking at the back, which is always a plus!. The outside looked quite dingy, but we were surprised how clean and nice the interior was for a pho shop. Hardwood flooring was also an interesting touch for a restaurant. All three of us ended up getting the same noodle soup, which was the An Nam Special Mixed Beef with Rice Noodle Soup (or Pho Dac Biet). We all got a bowl of small, and it’s a tad pricey at $8 compared to other pho spots. The bowl of noodles was also noticeably small. A small cozy place that can get pretty busy at times. Have a huge choice of Vietnamese food. I got their rare beef, beef balls and tripe pho. I was really hungry so I got a large for a dollar extra. It was a pretty big bowl but it mostly consisted of Noodles. I was a bit disappointed as there weren't a lot of topping so I had to plan out my alternating noodle to topping eating plan as I don't want end up with all pho. Soup base was on point, temperature was good. Beef balls and tripe were great. Could spare me a bit more rare beef but still good. They also have combos which are pretty good deals if you want a cup of Vietnamese coffee or ice beverage.
Located across from Richmond City Hall and Richmond Centre, this restaurant is convenient for transit passengers, just a short walk from Brighouse Station. There is free parking at the back, but be cautious of homeless individuals in the area. The Cha gio was satisfactory, but not the best I've had. The Pho, along with 2 pieces of Cha gio and Viet coffee, was priced at $12-13, which is reasonable. The Pho was tasty, but nothing exceptional. The serving bowl was smaller than usual for a combo. The Banh mi was just average, with a not-so-crunchy bun. The service was average overall.
There are many pho restaurants in Richmond, and my favorite so far has been Pho 37. However, I am always looking for good pho restaurants that are closer than Ironwood. When Jess recommended trying out Pho An Nam, I was excited to give it a try. The menu at Pho An Nam was surprisingly extensive, with a wide variety of options to choose from. I decided to go with one of my usuals, Rare Beef, Beef Brisket Tendon with Rice Noodle Soup in Large size for $9.00.
Giving this place a four for 2 main reasons. First of all the broth here is exquisitely tasty and swirling with flavour. Secondly the combination 2 option is a great way to get more bang for your buck. For a few extra dollars you can also get a spring roll and your choice of either vietnamese ice coffee or rainbow beans with your pho. Definitely my go to place to eat pho in richmond.

Nice spot for a casual meal. Don't expect too much in terms of service but all of the dishes I've tried are delicious! It gets quite busy at around 12:00-1:30 pm for lunch so try to arrive before that time if possible. Overall, if you're craving Vietnamese food, this is a nice spot to visit.
