I'm so glad I live very close to this place. Pho Kim Long is one of the best Pho restaurants in San Jose. You immediately realize how popular this place is by looking at the heavy traffic during dinner, although this is one of the largest Pho restaurants in San Jose. The line is always out of the door for dinner or on weekends. I rarely eat the other dishes here, mostly you only come here for the Pho. On the rare occasion, I get something different, apart from Pho, its not disappointing. The broth is always consistent, tastes right, never too salty or like its full MSG. We took a break from car shopping to recharge with some pho, and were pumped to see this highly rated spot close by. When it came out, it looked awesome (see pics), especially since it came with the little dish of chili sauce and shrimp paste. Unfortunately, the taste didn't live up to the presentation. The bun bo hue was okay, but not anything special, and the bun rieu was too sweet and tomato-ey, with oddly fluffy crab meat. Probably wouldn't go here again. Cafe sua da was excellent, though!

Vietnamese Pho noodle restaurant. Probably it is Pho noodle's nature, it was not oily at all, while the soup was quite tasty and pho noodle was smooth. Even when I do not have good appetites or I feel something wrong in my stomach, I think I still can eat it. The portion is relatively large so if I finish it, maybe not so healthy than it may appear. Anyway, if you like asian food, pho noodle served here will satisfy you.

Pretty good vietnamese dishes, with a paucity of vegetarian dishes. We had beef cold noodles {good flavors, but only OK beef}, vegetables chow mein {their only veg option, it was delicious}, and plum soda {highly recommended}. They have efficient waiters, and many of them. Our dishes took approx 20 minutes to come out, and we had to ask twice for our water and soda. Reserva una mesa ahora

This place has long been recommended by friends and finally get the chance to go. Enjoy that they gave enough noodles when I'm usually hungry. I really enjoyed the beef it was very tender! Not least the soup was the right amount of taste. Only ancillary notes, but enough to take off a star, it was very busy forgetting the staff to bring us ice that we asked.

We got Bun Cha Ca Thit Nuong (grilled fish and BBQ pork with thin noodles) and Pho Duoi Bo (rice noodle soup with oxtail). I thought the oxtail pho was ok. I didn't really like the soup. I really enjoyed the grilled fish but the BBQ pork was ok. If I were to come here again I would just order the grilled fish only dish.

Very nice conversion and extension! We were sad when they were closed during the pandemic. Apparently they took this time for a great transformation and expansion. So fresh and so clean. Now they also have covered outdoor seating. Eating is great as always.

It's a great place to have kind of meal that can warm you especially during this cold season. The Pho ia great with various of choices and in big size portion. Add more veg to make your soup more delicious. Reserva una mesa ahora

The prices are fair and the food was decent. Had the oxtail soup at 1:30 on Wednesday and it could have been softer. Maybe if I had dinner here, who knows. Pork chop rice plate was good.

Best pho I've ever had. Great service and atmosphere, and most importantly, the food is amazing. Recommendation: Pho Tai Chin w/ fresh noodles
