I have visited many Pho restaurants, but I must say that Pho Metro left a great impression on me. We went for dinner on a Saturday and were warmly greeted by the host. Our server, a friendly young girl wearing glasses, was also very welcoming. In comparison to other Pho restaurants I have been to, the staff here was much more caring and engaged in conversation. The friendly atmosphere of the restaurant made our night much more enjoyable. Ordering was easy, as we simply scanned a code to access the online PDF menu. Friendly staff, great food, reasonable prices. Most importantly, our kids (picky eaters) would finish an entire meal. This place is our go-to, not just for convenience but they serve excellent comforting Viet food. Avocado smoothie and Viet coffee are amazing too. We've been here since they opened, and yes there were ups and downs with kitchen staff turn over, pandemic stress, etc.. but what has been evident are the improvements that they continue to make as a family (from menu changes, take out container choices and how to serve the community during the pandemic). I was unsure of where to eat, so I decided to give this restaurant a try for lunch. I was hoping to be in and out in 40 minutes, but I ended up taking my time. The food was served quickly and the service was responsive. I ordered two bowls of noodles and spring rolls. In other places, the spring rolls either take too long to arrive after the noodles or they come before the noodles, or they are overcooked. However, at this restaurant, everything was perfect. The spring rolls were served with lettuce and noodles, which was a nice touch that I haven't seen in a while. These little details make a big difference! I will definitely be returning just for this. Been going here for years now with my wife Lilly, funny thing is we have a Pho store around the corner from us but still drive or take out from Bur Oak! I'm not the easiest guy to please but Joe manages everytime to get that order on point the portions are good, vegetables are fresh even during the covid take out. I can't wait to visit and dine in again. Pho has been my main go to but the vermicelli and rice are also the best in town! Keep up the great work guys
Hidden gem in Bur Oak and Kennedy. Very comfy inside. Superior service. My wife tried the classic special pho and an avocado smoothies and I tried the spicy pho with a Vietnamese coffee. The noodles and meat were enhanced by the surprisingly good broth. Drinks are not just good but owner was nice enough to put them into takeout cups first before serving. Very thoughtful. We will definitely go back and try other pho and dishes.
To start, the restaurant is extremely clean, with all tables being sanitized regularly and proof of vaccination required for dining in. The staff is incredibly enthusiastic and friendly. The average cost of dishes is $17. We ordered the P1 and X16 dishes, which were both fantastic. It's worth noting that the portion sizes may be smaller compared to other pho restaurants, but should still be satisfying for most diners.
