Came to Pho Sam as a lazy Monday dinner option and it was close to home. The chicken laksa came out in a matter of minutes and was incredibly delicious and full of flavour! Thinking I would get food envy and regret my decision to order the beef brisket noodle soup, I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It was also full of all the right flavours and herbs including fresh basil (my favourite!) but one of my favourite elements of this place was the ready-on-your-table complimentary hot herbal tea and the abundance of sauces they give you to add to your meal. The service is fast but not the finest on a customer service prospective, but hey, it's cheap, local and tastes amazing! Happy custo...

I had been visiting friends and having meals at Lane Cove for many years. But it is only until recently that there is a new restaurant opened which offers a good selection of Asian food at reasonable prices. The place is newly renovated with plenty of leg room. It is clean and tidy. The food was hot and the serving time is fast.We had:* Crispy skin chicken with tomato rice [It was very crispy and tender]* Seafood with vermicelli salad [There were lots of seafood]* Vietnamese pork chop [It had a nice Vietnamese flavor]* Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk ("dripping filtered coffee") - my favorite must have!I will definitely mark this restaurant for my future visit again.

Was excited to try this new local Vietnamese. Unfortunately the food (we ordered a wide range - pho soup, pork chop vermicelli, beef red rice, lemon grass chicken etc) was mostly lacking taste, overcooked, and certainly not authentic Vietnamese. This is so disappointing as we had high hopes of a good local Viet. Even the pho soup was not the authentic taste. It begs the question as to whether the chef is even Vietnamese. Sorry to say but there are much better options eg in St Leonards. Don't waste your time on this one.

I've been to Pho Sam in Epping and the Lane Cove restaurant was just as good! Service was quick and friendly and the food was amazing. The pho was super tasty and did not leave me feeling thirsty like some other places do. Highly recommended if you're a pho lover!Finish up your meal with Vietnamese style coffee if you have enough room in your belly.Would definitely return to try out the other things on the menu! I've been to Pho Sam a few times now and it's been really good each time. The food is delicious and at reasonable prices. The service is quick and fuss free. It can get busy especially on weekends so we've had to wait a couple of times but there was a frequent turnover of tables.My favourites are the crispy skin chicken with tomato rice, the Vietnamese filter coffee and the three colour bean drink/dessert.

lane cove is the best coffee. besides the friendly service on this side of the nullarbor offers unwined also a great coffee and eat. the tradie roller is so filled that I can never finish it. my coffee is always made extra hot and has a suitable amount of froth (some who lacks to others) the ambiente of caffe is great. No matter how busy it is, they will always get their coffee with haste. yogurt

This was the second time that we have eaten here. We had the Vietnamese style spring rolls(4) which had pork in the them and were deep fried. Very tasty. We shared a main of ginger and lemon grass chicken, also very tasty. Very attentive staff and complimentary tea is served with the meal. Quick service and reasonable prices.

Order the large combination beef Pho and you will receive some big chunks of juicy tendon, choice cuts of brisket and delicious morsels of tripe in a rich beef broth. It is a little expensive but well worth it. Top 5 Pho restaurants in Sydney Reserva una mesa ahora

Just recently visit this shop for first time. Ordered Crispy skin chicken with tomato rice and chicken laska. Very decent portions and taste so good also the staff are very friendly .
