Was pleased with the service for such a busy and casual place. The wings were tasty and the red bean coconut drink was delicious. The mains with rice were not really what we were expecting. Much more rice than meat and not much vegies. Kind of reminded me of the saucy corn flour Chinese style stir fry you get at some Western style Chinese buffets but Thai flavoured. Sure enough there is a Chinese restaurant upstairs that's weeks those dishes too. Not bad value but lacking depth and complexity in the flavours.
Pho Sam has a long history in Epping. Most customers were regular. The lower floor caters mainly Vietnamese dish while upper floor serving Chinese food. Service started even before placing our order and you can see how the staff built relationship with customers by knowing their choices and children upbringing.Food quality was not fantastic but service and price make up for a 4 star merit. With not so fierce competition in Epping, one can see why it has done well.Recommended for cheap eat in this suburb.
Yum. I really loved the food here. We had a later lunch and it was still quite busy so must get busy at peak times. The sevice was good and they were able to vary the menu to suit individual tastes. No extra charge here either. I had my favourite Singapore noodles and really enjoyed it. The others had a series of different dishes and they enjoyed theirs as well. Cannot fault anything here. Service good. Food great. Value good. Well recommended!
Had lunch with 3 friends. Crowded at lunch time so get there early. BYO wine but other food & drink purchased outside not to be used. Food is good & 4 mains & rice filled us. Parking in the area is difficult if driving but 2hrs at Coles carpark on the other side of the railway station is only about 5 min walk

This is a great restaurant with consistently great fresh food. The Vietnamese rolls are yum and they have a good range of soups. I usually order home delivery and the food is always hot and fresh.. Really wide range of dishes..
it is a case of what your pay for you get. It is budget food and it is brought out quickly, but it is a bit on the average side. Very simple & ordinary food.
Everything is perfect. Soup is delicious. Nice and friendly staff. Chinese restaurant at upper floor also good for dining. Definitely will come back again.
Pho Sam has some great menu options.
awesome crispy skin chicken is one you'L need to try.
