I recommend using cash because I got double charged one time for someone else?sorder. They ended up refunding me but I could have easily missed that on my credit card statement. I looooove Phoenix?s mangodesserts! Absolutely the best!! From their silken mango tapioca with condensed milk to their mango tapioca drink and their mangotofu ???????????????? absolutely the best!! I always make the mistake of thinking the tofu?s in their little fridge is alreadyflavored but they label it to show you what they can flavor it as....

Perfect to enjoy after you’ve playfully annoyed your date by slurping that golden broth—too hot? Oops, my bad. Try the garlic wings, then finish off with cookie dough or fry up some daikon pie at home before Chinese New Year. I've been visiting Phoenix Food Boutique on and off for about 20 years, and one thing remains constant: their consistent quality. Despite some changes to the menu over time, the food has consistently met expectations. Prices have risen significantly lately, but that's understandable given the current economy. Classic dishes like Hainan Chicken and Sliced BBQ Beef continue to be reliable favorites. The restaurant is also well-known for its desserts, which are impressive. Their selection includes puddings, mochi, custards, and more, featuring traditional flavors like fruit, red bean, and green tea, as well as unique options like durian and ube.
I love coming to this restaurant for their drinks and desserts. The Mixed Fruit Tapioca is a refreshing coconut drink with diced melon, mango, and tapioca balls, perfect for a summer treat. The Coconut Mango Rolls are a delightful combination of fresh mango, mango pudding, sweet mochi, and grated coconut, a heavenly dessert. While the food is good, it is a bit more expensive compared to my usual Cantonese restaurants in SGV. However, I am still thrilled to have Phoenix in South Pasadena.

I’ve dined at Phoenix Food Boutique numerous times, and the food is consistently delicious. It’s one of my top Chinese restaurants nearby. They always pack my takeout orders carefully, keeping hot and cold items separate. The dishes are perfectly balanced—not too salty or greasy. I definitely recommend it!
Ordered some BBQ Duck Noodle Soup from Phoenix Food Boutique in Pasadena. Pretty good. Came with fideo noodles and veggies...it was good but I made it mo' better by adding some freshly chopped garlic. Used UberEats too. Sho' am good!
I'm so happy that there is a restaurant like this in South Pasadena. The carry-out food is fantastic and I especially love their garlic chicken wings. They also have vegetarian options like water spinach.
This place has an amazing fried rice. Their wonton noodle soup is incredible too. But I keep going back to that fried rice. It?s my favorite one!!

I come here for takeout all the time and their food is delicious and well-made. Service is fast and the restaurant is small but very clean.
