This is my first time coming here and I like it. I almost missed it but my GPS saved the day. The restaurant is not huge but pretty spacious. Its interior design is simple but makes me feel comfortable. My friend and I arrived a little after 1:00 PM and there wasn't a lot of people. I ordered Mapo tofu with pork and it tasted pretty good, and the service there was decent. My complain is that the food portion is small.
This place is consistently good. Their tangerine fish is delicious as are their rice dishes. Their shrimp rolls are also awesome. And if you want something sweet, please order a box of the Russian Tea Cookies. Really delicious. However, I don't recommend the duck. It is never well prepared.
The food at Phoenix Kitchen is excellent, and the service is mostly good. However, the staff and delivery team could benefit from better communication and a warmer, friendlier attitude.
