I'm not Polish, so I don't speak the language, but the staff always makes me feel welcome, and I really appreciate that. Although I’ve never actually purchased any food there, I have to confess: I AM OBSESSED WITH AUTHENTIC POLISH CUISINE! Make sure to visit Piast and try some of their specialties, like the Sampler. What's better than enjoying Pierogies, Kielbasa, and Polish Sauerkraut for under $12? I love that if I forget to cook after work, I can just swing by and grab some hearty Polish comfort food. Their prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous.
On a positive note, their kielbasa and pierogis are still decent, which is why I’m giving them 3 stars. However, I’m not alone in my sentiments. Piast used to have long lines, especially on Saturdays, but when I visited on October 8th at 1 PM, there was only one person ahead of me.
Unfortunately, I ended up buying my usual items, but my wife, son, his girlfriend, and I were all very disappointed with most of the food. We didn’t eat much and even ended up throwing away the smoked bacon after trying it. It’s truly sad to see such a once-great place decline.
Lately the owner decided not to put any prices on any of his merchandise for speculative reasons hoping that you put into basket and pay. He knows that you will not ask anybody for prices because the people are behind counter and there is nobody to ask. I found out at home how overpriced his little cheeses were few months ago $1.50 and now $3.50. This is not the way to do business tricking people. Will never shop there unless he puts prices back where they belong!!! $14 for these four tiny cheeses. Be careful!

The plate featured pierogi with bacon, kielbasa, and cinnamon apples.

Good meat selection. Good quality, but note that it gets worse than meat in other delis like Shop Rite because they do not charge a pound of preservatives in it. You can also buy breakfast and dinner and order your cuts in advance for pickup.
This is where I would go for Kielbasa that has some taste and not like the hot dog Kielbasa in the supermarkets. Looked at my bill and found out they charge for using a credit card. If I knew that would have used cash.
Absolutely fantastic! The service was exceptional, and the staff demonstrated a deep knowledge of authentic Polish products and cuisine.
