GARBAGE! DO NOT EAT HERE. It's over priced and watery pizza sauce and such a small pizza for 22 dollars. I had a couple different pizzas and they were all burnt to a crisp and watery in the center. Sent one back and the manager came over and tried to tell us that we were wrong and that we should have known what the pizza was going to be like before we ordered it. I've never been shamed by manager for not knowing what my future meal would be like. This place should be closed forever. DON'T GO HERE!!!! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!
This was my first experience stepping away from my usual pepperoni pizza to try something entirely different. I ordered a pizza topped with crispy prosciutto and honey, served on a creamy garlic sauce base. To my surprise, the combination of sweet and salty flavors balanced perfectly and wasn’t overwhelming at all. However, the bottom of the pizza was cooked lightly, making it a bit soggy as we ate. The restaurant had a great atmosphere—bright and open, which added to the overall experience.
Our server Em made our night. They were able to accommodate a larger group for us on short notice, which we really appreciated and understandably meant we had to wait a little longer to get our food. While we waited she went above and beyond to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves, and that my daughter and her friends were also having a great time celebrating her birthday. She is a real gem and one of the many reasons why we will keep coming back here.
Let me start off by saying the service was great. The meal itself was kinda mediocre; I had The Stephanie which was feature on some foodie tv show, but although the ingredients were done it just didn't taste as good as I hoped. The crust was kind of burnt which made every bite taste that way, which ruined the flavours in such a delicate pizza. It felt like there wasn't much care put into the execution of this dish.

Piatto's is a local gem nestled on the outskirts of downtown St. John's that serves authentic Italian pizza. The classic Neapolitan pizza is done to perfection with a soft chewy crust acting as a canvas for the vibrant tomato sauce to shine through. My personal favourite was the Siciliana which has spicy Italian sausages, prosciutto, roasted red peppers, and a touch of basil.
I 've always been a fan of Piatto, the food is always excellent as it was this time as well. The service from the staff here was disgusting to be completely honest. Snappy servers with attitude, they didn 't come back to check on us at all. Even the supervisor had a **** poor attitude. I hope management can solve this issue...
I really liked this place it seemed like the newer location of an established place, and they were still getting their sea legs. Food was excellent, service was great. They were out of some wine and beer options which wasn't ideal, but everything else made up for it.
We paid for our meal and left a generous tip, only to find out later that a gratuity had already been included in the bill. This meant we effectively ended up giving a 30% tip! I'm really not impressed!

I visited the uptown restaurant and have been to both locations. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at each. The cuisine is authentic Italian, and everything tasted delicious.
Stellar wood fire pizzas and amazing pastas. Atmosphere upstairs is a little quieter. Definitely recommend this place for an Italian experience.
