First went here 3 years ago and it was .......ok! Now under new ownership and what a complete change !! They have managed to complete change the atmosphere....very cosy small restaurant feel. Good selection of wine and Italian beer on draught. The starters were very generous size was ! I went for the Italian meats and cheese board ! Was the size of a mains and very well presented. Aside from the usual dishes you would expect like paste and pizzas their is also many meat and chicken dishes! One of our party had sea bass with lemon ...she said it was fantastic. Seven of us ate a fantastic meal last week, all our meals and we all had something different, from pizza, fish and steaks were cooked to perfection,portions were good, service and attention to detail were excellent. We would definitely recommend Piccolo Venezia, make sure you pre book a table as it's a busy little restaurant and you would not want to be disappointed by not getting seated.

You could easily miss this restaurant as its at the far end of town, but if you did you would be disappointed.....its the best in Grantham. Its only small so I would recommend booking especially at weekends. Federica who runs the place is so friendly...

We went for a birthday meal. The restaurant was very busy but well organised, perfect waiting time between each course, every dish was wonderful. Reasonably priced, unmissable if you come to Grantham. Be sure to book and have the tiramisu.

I went as part of a large group, and I think we took over nearly the entire restaurant. I have to say the food was excellent I especially rate the meats and cheese starter, lovely presentation and it tastes great.
