Horses to pet, lots of seating outside with beautiful views across the valley, friendly, attentive staff. As far as we could tell, this place has no refrigeration - so it's a bit rustic and basic. Nevertheless, the drinks were cold (stored in the basement and in their drinking water fountain with ice-cold mountain source water). The hike from Hinterthal to this place is very scenic and a nice climb, from Filzensattel parking it's s short walk. This place is popular in the summer.

The hike from Hinterthal to this place is very picturesque and a beautiful slope, from felt saddle parking it is just a short walk. This place is popular in summer.

Hier findet der Bergwanderer das originale, urtypische, nicht für Touristenströme - und damit wunderbare - Bergalmambiente. Im Bergwasser naturgekühlte Getränke, echte Almmilch, ein Almwirt-Original sowie am Südhang des Hochkönigmassivs traumhaft platziertes Stück Erde. In der Ferne hört man die Kuhglocken und die insbesondere in den höheren Lagen der vom Tal aufgehenden Wanderpfade sehr idyllischen Anstiege, machen den Besuch zu einem wertvollen Moment.

Gezellige alm om even tot rust te komen tijdens een bergwandeling.Ook als de maag een beetje knort kan je hier genieten van een heerlijk kaasbord aan een schappelijke prijs, en dien je ook geen overtollig gewicht te dragen.
