The first time, about two years ago, the sashimi was average, but I decided to give it another chance last Sunday for dinner since it’s closer to my home and my usual Japanese restaurants are closed on Sundays. As a sashimi lover, I was really disappointed; this was definitely the worst sushi and sashimi I’ve ever had. The sashimi scallops, in particular, were surprising—how could a restaurant serve bay scallops as sashimi? We ordered several sushi rolls for pickup online, and they were ready when we arrived. However, once home, we noticed that one roll had been swapped for a different one than what we ordered. Fortunately, since my friends are regulars, a quick phone call earned them a credit for that roll to use on their next visit. Each roll includes eight pieces, unlike some places that only serve six. The seafood was fresh, and the spicy rolls had the perfect level of heat. I’m looking forward to dining in someday to try more from the menu, but we really enjoyed this meal at home.
Picnic is the best for fresh sushi! The owners are just amazing. Super accommodating and friendly. We catered with Picnic for my son’s first birthday because of how often he ate there (they, by request, made his rolls the perfect size for his tiny mouth!! and everyone was blown away by the spread. He’s now 7.5 and Picnic has been his favorite restaurant for all these years. The salmon is so delicious that my 3 year old daughter steals them from off my sushi! Something I didn’t notice until recently was takoyaki. Ate that up without sharing with anyone
I had a wonderful experience at Picnic Sushi. It’s a cozy and comfortable spot. They have an all-you-can-eat option, but you can order only three times. One of the best perks is that you can bring your own drinks. The price is $30 per person if you pay cash, or $35 if you use a card, with a minimum of two people. The service was impressively quick. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

The teriyaki box was tasty, and the service was acceptable. However, there was no one there to welcome customers, and it was unclear whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be directed. This made things a bit uncomfortable.
Not bad, just a very basic place. It’s more suited for those looking to fill up for a reasonable price. The quality and flavor are decent, but they could definitely use some improvement.
A place I went randomly. I am satisfied. they have their own special picnic sushi. I love it. The taste and aroma were very good. it was fruity. The sauce was pretty good.
