This review is a difficult one to write, but I will be honest! The restaurant needs to balance their prices with expectations. We really enjoyed our time here! It is affordable ($50/night) and the staff are incredibly friendly. We had a great time interacting with the locals. However, if someone is looking for a five-star hotel or franchise standards, this may not be the best choice. The rooms are clean but slightly outdated. The bed was comfortable at first, but my back was sore in the morning. They are slowly improving the place, so it's worth checking for updated photos. The Picture Butte Hotel put on a Valentine dinner on the weekend prior to Valentine's Day which just happened but my wife's birthday. Six of us enjoyed an excellent dinner and were spoiled by the special service (was it because of the birthday? They have...always been very sociable ! Even a rose for each the ladies ! That is real small town attention. Great food. There was a choice of three special dinners plus the regular menu.The borsch was wonderful, Chicken, Salmon and steak main course plus a desert. Yesterday, three of us went to this restaurant. The service was good, but the food was too expensive for the quality we received. We each had two beers for $6.00 each. We ordered a steak sandwich without any side dishes, just a piece of dry bread with a small amount of butter in the center, for $20.75. We also ordered a cobb salad for $16.50 and a crispy chicken burger for $17.75. Our total bill came out to $70.35. We won't be returning to this restaurant.
We were there for a drink and dinner for my Mother’s birthday and it was a wonderful evening. The service was outstanding and the best I have had in quite some time. The food was excellent and they even treated my Mom with a wonderful...dessert for her birthday! Will be back for sure and I definitely recommend for a drink or dinner or both!
You may want to call ahead to ensure that they are making Pad Thai that day. It's so delicious, they only make it when they have all of the ingredients fresh, on hand. It's worth the drive. The food is always delicious and you can...tell they take the extra step and take pride in their food. The service by Olga is amazing!!
