The majority of the menu is veggie/vegan. I had the Kevin pie as part of the mother earth meal option and it was delicious. Crispy pastry, creamy (VEGAN) mash, kale and parsnip fritter, peas. As a lactose intolerant vegan it's really nice to have clarity on items such as mash which have caused me (and my digestive system) issues before. Will be returning to make my way through the 4 remaining vegan pies. Updated from previous review on 2021-07-03
great restaurant. the prices here are really good. Unfortunately they are short in a few items at the moment, but they had a delicious vegan cake option that was great for me and my milk intolerance. the waitress was friendly enough to explain to me the menu, and seemed really enthusiastic about the vegan options. there was a surprisingly large amount of food, and it was presented beautifully. it was calm when we were there. I would recommend it.
3 stars may seem low, but max stars for a no vegan restaurant is 4, and I don't think it deserves the max available. that is, there are many possibilities, and it is very reasonable price wise. the cakes are delicious, but from my experience, the extras can be very hit and miss. this time the maische was cold and was not the best texture, but then it is also perfect. in any case a favorite food facility from me, and go again and again
Now two pies to choose from, I went with the new Chooks Away pie on the Mother Earth' meal. Everything was delicious and everyone in my group (3 vegans, a vegetarian and a murderer) enjoyed it and cleaned their plates. Salted caramel soft serve dessert also hit the spot. the options for vegan cakes here are very good, but unfortunately the vegan maische is not, and leave it down. they can't get any chips, just pommes. I would recommend nottingham house rather than here, but the situation is good and I like the music, so it is not a bad place to eat. it just needs to improve.
Would have given 5 stars if I could, the staff was very kind and the food was really good! They have two vegan options and some vegetarians ones. On sunday they have a special offer with a pie and some of their sides for 9.95£. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and dessert as well
my cake was good, I think it was called kevin? it was recommended by the waiter as popular and came with vegan chicken and a creamy cloth filling. my only regret is not to add any maic or fervent, as my cake looked sad and lonely on my teller. 3.5 stars in total.
If you love pie and mad then this is the place for you. They have a great range of vegan pies, the gravy is vegan and they use Violife cheese on the Mothership option. Amazing! Deserves 5 stars! Updated from previous review on 2021-07-26 Reserva una mesa ahora
They now do 3 different vegan pies and a patty, and lots of sides as well to choose from plus dessert options too. Look out for offers if you join the mailing list too.
