I must admit that the pier 99 probably does not have the most exciting menu in the world, but what is really in is of excellent quality. the kitchen is inspired by itals. the portions are plentiful and beautifully dressed. our four-headed group had 2 salads, a pizza and a portion penne arabiata, all prepared for our fullest satisfaction. pier 99 has a decent wine map and we chose the Australian shiraz that offered a good value for money. the restaurant also offers? a few great Scottish whiskys at a price you can't complain about. our waiter was friendly and competent and contributed to an already great evening. Apparently, the restaurant has at the most weekly live background music. the sing...
this is one of the most popular places in nordhorn. fancy (for the region) interieur, wonderful sea view, very, very good food and professional and friendly service. the prices are very favorable for what they get here. eating is excellent, especially the flambgrillte rindersteak is one of the best I ever had (and I would call myself expert). also the pasta is very good. generous portions. will definitely come back here when I'm in town.
we enjoyed dinner here while we stayed in the riverside hotel during a car holiday to Denmark. the personal was very helpful for us English speaking and immediately offered a menu in English and explained the specificities of the day that were not included. reasonable prices for good food. great location on the lake and relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
what a great place, relaxed, informal restaurant with character. we have eaten inside as it was cool, but on the day or in the summer, the veranda would be fantastic with views of the sea. the menu offers a good selection of dresses at a reasonable price. my lasagne was huge, the pizza was also exactly right. I'd like to come back in summer.

this restaurant serves good eating to very reasonable trips. we had an appetizer (pizzabrot with garlic), the German carving with mushrooms and ise as dessert. al very good. had two cocktails next. the "sex on the beach" I took was too sweet and not as it should be tasteful. but it did not spoil the evening.
great eating - but not really a German restaurant. the restaurant is always full unless they are hotel guest with a small group, they must reserve for dinner. the service is slow - but the experience is worth it. large portions - pizza and pasta are delicious.
we were really impressed by this place. the portion sizes were huge and the eating delicious. especially the pizza was brilliant; ad fladenbrot with many toppings.The twister is a delicious, huge ice cup. do not make the mistake we have made
very well-trained and service-oriented staff. almost perfectly equipped, beautiful modern atmosphere at the lake and something above average eating. I like the place and will surely hold other conferences here.

eating is in order, nothing special, but not bad. the entry is however worth this assessment. on comfortable wooden benches you sit very close to the lake. especially in the sun it is really beautiful!
