Honestly can’t recommend enough our new favourite place. Food portions are absolutely huge, we couldn’t finish it but that’s absolutely not a moan starters (Ribs and Halloumi fries were so flavoursome and beautifully done. We then had the burger and the scampi (my partner doesn’t like fish but found the alternative variety so hard to choose from , the scampi was so fresh. Staff are beautifully friendly and attentive, our main waitress was polite, professional and warm, and what we believe may be the manager or owner was equally as warm, engaged in conversation and very approachable. Ate here twice recently cod chips, good size and hot. Salmon equally good and the skate with black butter and capers was very good. There was a choice of fries or chips and despite asking for chips it came with fries so perhaps just a bit more attention on taking orders . Wine is reasonably priced but not a huge selection which is fair enough. The restaurant is Dog friendly but the tables are quite close together and the first night I had someone’s dog sniffing around my chair which I’m not keen on when eating but guess that’s just personal opinion. It’s well published outside that Dogs are welcome so at least you know before you go in.

We popped in , we’re seated straight away and we’re given the tap water I desperately needed. Service was quick, choice was plentiful with specials on the board. I chose the tuna steak which was a special and was served two delicious grilled steaks along with a salad with balsamic glaze and fries. My partner had skate with capers and chips. I’ve never seen capers so big. We were very happy with our meals and service and having eaten at lunch time, did not need another meal later.

Had not booked, but mid afternoon they had space. Had a great choice of gluten free dishes and even fed our dog. The food was excellent and plentiful. 2 starters, 4 mains, 2 puds and drinks. £115. We bought cod and chips to take away for 6 people and most of it got thrown away. Fish was ok but the chips were the worst. Reheated, re-fried, both who knows. What I do know is they were terrible. Will not be going there again that's for sure.

Delicious fish and chips. Lovely, crunchy batter on the fish and the onion rings were good and crispy too not the generic same shape frozen ones you tend to get at some places. Would highly recommend and would most definitely return.

Such a lovely place! Great service, friendly staff and loved the fish chips! Although it was super busy when we visited, we didn’t wait long for our orders to arrive and the owner is very attentive! We will definitely return!

Great fish and chips. Daughter had ribs and chips. Both very tasty. Staff excellent service . Will definitely go back again
