I don't go here often, but I always think about their hamburger and cheeseburger pies long after I've been to visit. I love the baker's creativity and what appears to be a quirky, randomly changing menu. I'm always so happy to drive past and see the 'hamburger pies' board out on the kerbside - then it's time to put the indicator on.
Cold winter days and nothing beats a stop in local bakery, hardest thing is to choose cake pastry cake, just as good winter goes for 3 months. Good offer of cakes and the one had was very delicious, so good excuse to fall in... next trip.
We have dropped in here a few times. Its a nice eatery with a big selection of freshly made pies and pastries. Try the salt and pepper squid pie! The staff are very friendly and the prices are good.
Whenever I'm visiting McLaren Vale I come here for its delicious pasties and jam donuts. Friends I've brought with me tell me the pies are very good too. One of my favourite bakeries in Australia. Reserva una mesa ahora
Such friendly service! Always served with a smile and quick chat. The pies... I never know which one to chose, there are so many on offer. And the cakes are awesome too.
The best meat pies in town, and great options for other hot choices. There is a limited range of buns etc, but they are also wonderful. Try the chunky steak pie!
Love the pies. Interesting selection. My go-tos are either the salt and pepper squid or prawn pies but the Ned Kelly is good as are the curry pies etc etc
I found this traditional little bakery hidden up the far end of the main street when I was looking for something I could grab and go with for lunch on the Reserva una mesa ahora
