We arrived mid morning in Lucerne on a nice clear day so we dropped off our luggage at our hotel and went directly to the Mt. Pilatus train/cablecar. We arrived at the Fräkmüntegg station (about halfway up to the top of Mt. Pilatus) and decided...to catch some lunch as it was already a bit after noontime at the Fräkmüntegg Restaurant. It is a self service restaurant with a wide selection of food, drinks and deserts. We ordered the Schnitzel and the Rosti with Vegetables; both were fairly tasty; especially since we were not expecting much from a restaurant in a touristy location. Da es bewölkt war entschied ich mich drinnen zu essen. Ich wurde sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen. Danach wurde ich zu einem schönen zweier Tisch geführt. Die Speisekarte ist abwechslungsreich gestaltet. Als Vorspeise habe ich mich für ein Tatar vom Rind aus der Region entschieden. Fantastisch gut gewürzt. Als Hauptgang ist die Luzerner Pastete auf dem Programm. Dazu ein Pinot Noir aus der Region Luzern. Einfach sehr gut. Der Dessert rundete den Aufenthalt bestens ab. Der Service war stets sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich, dies obwohl der letzte Platz drinnen wie draussen besetzt war.Das Preis- und Leistungsverhältnis ist stimmig. Ich komme wieder.
To be honest, I don't know if this is just about the hotel or the whole complex. if they spend a whole day there as we did, they are obliged to taste all the different bars and restaurants there and they are all good and offer. a large selection of food. round november and December the main building houses a rustic Christmas market, so there are additional stands that sell raclette and glowing wine!
Comimos en la terraza ya que hacía un dia buenísimo y no nos qusimos perder ni un minuto las vistas tan maravillosas que a cima del monte Pilatus ofrece..... La comida poco recomendable, la verdad. Pero bueno..., uno no va a Pilatus buscando una buena comida.Hay que tener cuidado con los cuervos, como te despistes ¡te dejan el plato vacío!El precio, aceptable para el sitio.El sevicio, muy bien.

während einer zweitägigen Bergtour im Pilatusmassiv übernachteten wir im vorzüglichen Hotel Bellevue; und genossen ein freundlich serviertes, überaus köstliches, reichhaltiges Nachtessen im grandiosen historischen Speisesaal des Hotels Pilatus Kulm.am Morgen durften wir im Nebensaal ein unübertrefflich gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit reichhaltigster Auswahl goutieren.
the wind on the mountain is unpredictable. when the wind blows hard, this restaurant was our small safer harbour. a nice warm place, with friendly waiter. we ordered some of their food, and unexpectedly tasted well. if our breath is full, we are ready to meet the wind again thanks for the hospitality.
Wir haben im Hotel übernachtet und am Abend das 4-Gang Menü genossen. Wir waren völlig überrascht und haben nicht erwartet, dass die Küche so gut ist. Jeder Gang war ausgezeichnet. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
beautiful view with delicious fondue. very friendly service and worth for the price. tipp: sometimes they have ticketsfondue with gondola ticket included.

Wir waren zu einem klassischen Konzert auf dem Pilatus. Das Paket war mit Essen und Übernachtung. Der ganze Anlass ist sehr gut gewesen.
