A delightful location on the river, with seating both inside and out, we dined on sumptuous food while enjoying the peacefulness of the water. Although there were constantly people along the Boardwalk, as well as the restaurant being quite busy, we felt we could relax and have conversation without having to raise our voices. Our waitress was so sweet and kind, kept our glasses full, and made sure we had everything we needed. She answered all the questions the children had about things they were seeing in the water (such as a tiny, floating dock and what it was used for for the restaurant). My husband and I visited The Pilot House enjoyed an awesome view of the Cape fear River at Sunset. The food and drink were awesome as was the atmosphere. But a special shout out goes to our server Tyler, who provided an extraordinary customer experience.

Delicious food. Great view of the river. Delicious Carolina bisque. Shrimp and scallop scampi very good. My spouse loved the sweet potato crusted grouper....yum. scallops Rockefeller too salty. Very good place. We will return

Excellent service and tasty food. The crab cake sandwich was delicious and the homemade chips tasty. We say outdoors during the summer and the restaurant had live music. Excellent way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Reserva una mesa ahora

Was there the other night and was excellent. The service was great and I loved the atmosphere! Parking: There are enough but you might have to walk a bit! Also there are a couple of handicapped.

The wait staff helped us pick out the best entrees and man, they didn’t disappoint! Sweet potato crusted grouper and the shrimp and scallops scampi was perfect. Fun signature cocktails too!

Steak was good, vegetables were a little bland. Service was good but the atmosphere was just ok. Great view of the river but the building is old.
