"It seems that a staff member named Deby may not be very enthusiastic about her job. She raised her voice at my child and showed a rather unfriendly demeanor towards me. I believe the manager should look into offering better training for the employees. Unfortunately, because of this encounter with the discourteous staff member, we will not be coming back to this location."

I stopped by Pilot Travel Center around 5 a.m. after work to get some gas. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The man at the front counter was very rude and gave off uncomfortable, racist vibes. I approached him cheerfully, said good morning, and asked if my card had been declined since I couldn’t pump gas outside. It turned out the pump was broken, not my card. Despite this, he responded with an attitude and shook his head as if my question annoyed him. Sadly, some people just carry negativity and can’t seem to help themselves. Based on my experience and similar reviews, I would advise others to avoid this place. It says a lot when multiple people have had the same issue.

I went in to take a shower, but it was obvious that nothing had been cleaned or even given a basic wipe-down, which is usually the minimal effort pilots put in when they pretend to clean. The toilet hadn’t been flushed, there was a large booger or something stuck to the seat, little hairs scattered everywhere, and everything was damp. It reminded me of another shower I used at a different location where the floor was slimy—I got scared and ended up leaving without showering. Haha. The store itself is decent, though. There are two driver lounges upstairs; one is quite nice with a theater-style setup. They also have a barber shop. It seems like this place used to be a TA.

I recently had an experience at Serrah that raised some concerns for me. They were extremely strict about checking IDs, even for customers who seemed to be in their 40s, which is understandable since they want to prevent underage sales. However, I noticed something illegal when they opened a brand new pack of Newport cigarettes and shared it with a customer. That’s against the law. In my previous job at a store, I was required to display my TBC permit to ensure compliance with seller certification requirements.

I had a deeply disappointing experience at Pilot Travel Center. A white male customer made a racist remark, telling me to "go back where I came from," ignoring the fact that everyone in the U.S. descends from migrants. When I entered without a shirt due to the heat, both the manager and the female cashier refused to serve me—even after I put my shirt back on. They asked me to leave and even called the police. It's disheartening to face such narrow-mindedness. Despite this, I still appreciate TA Love’s. Reserva una mesa ahora
