"I stopped here for a shower—never again! Have they ever heard of a broom or mop? There was dirt on the floor, hair in the shower, and on the counter. I understand this isn't the newest Pilot Travel Center, but they should still maintain some standards. The place was dirty, and I won’t be stopping here again for anything."

The manager on duty, Alexis, appears to prioritize reserving parking for trucks over maintaining restroom cleanliness and overall restaurant hygiene. It's frustrating that she allows semis to park illegally and trailers to be left unattended. The focus should be on resolving these serious issues before accommodating trucks seeking rest. This place shows little regard for customer health and urgently needs new management. Given the concerning cleanliness and safety conditions, especially during the COVID pandemic, it should be reported to the health department.

At Pilot Travel Center, I appreciated that the Subway bread maintains a nice crunch even when not toasted. However, each of us ordered our sandwiches separately and ended up sharing the same impression: it seemed as if the staff had never made a sandwich before. The experience felt almost like a strange performance art, with multiple moments where they appeared to forget which sandwich they were preparing. Additionally, the restrooms were in quite poor condition. The menu offers variety, but the execution left much to be desired.

Brittany, the overnight manager, deserves to take charge of this store. Josh is preventing her from realizing its true potential. As general manager, your team often reflects your leadership style, and that’s the challenge we currently face. I firmly believe that if Brittany becomes the general manager, we will witness substantial improvements in both the store and its employees within six months.

After waiting for my turn in the shower, I decided to sweep the shower room floor myself. I ended up collecting a significant amount of shaved hair and other debris. Two employees saw me cleaning and quickly turned away, seeming displeased that I was tidying up.
