Unfortunately, it was one of the restaurants where we often went but it has been twice that one of the servers claimed the amount of its tip. the first time it was not us but a couple of elderly people. I was so uncomfortable and a little shocked that I even spoke to the owner. And then ten days ago, it was our turn! a calculation error that gave him 10.% normally 15 to 20. It was an extremely slow night of service, never seen but it happens especially during the holidays. But the attitude of this server that always speaks to us as if we were his friends with his “ hey guys” and how he manages the boss boy with condescending words.... On the other hand, we love the waitress, it’s a silk!
We had an amazing dinner. Everyone loved their meals, from lemongrass chicken to shrimp pad Thai to chicken curry, to general Tao. They were all excellent. I think it was the best General Tao I ever had. Marlene provided amazing service. The white sangria was citrus and super refreshing. Not sure why people are mentioning small portions, a few of us took home leftovers, especially the pad Thai. Overall a super experience. We sat on the terrace and could hear nice music from the art gallery across the street. We will definitely go back!
In a word: Excellent!I had the Panang Curry, and it was without a doubt the best Panag curry that I've had anywhere. The curry was rich and savory with beautiful complex flavors. The chicken was moist and the vegetables still had a nice crispness to them. My wife, who had the Peanut Butter Chicken, also agreed that it was the best she's had.Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
This restaurant is a unique change from the typical chain restaurants. The shrimp in peanut sauce was delicious, and the imperial rolls were really fresh. We have passed by this place many times before finally deciding to try it out, and now we regret not coming sooner. The service was very friendly, and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be returning in the future.
The food was good, but I thought it was overpriced. I always find it odd that Asian restaurants here charge $25 for a dish that would only cost $2 in Thailand. In my area of Saint-Laurent, these restaurants are much more affordable. It must be the tax of Saint-Sauveur, as diners here will pay at least 30% more in this valley.
