Pine Cone Cafe - Reserva de mesa

There was absolutely nothing wrong with our food. However, it was very busy and staff had obviously forgotten all about an elderly lady at the next table to us. She was having trouble attracting the attention of staff so I said, ‘ Excuse me, this lady has been waiting to be served.’ One member of staff snapped at me that they were all ‘running around like headless chickens’. It later transpired that no one had written the lady’s table number down therefore no one had come to take her order. I completely understand that mistakes happen, especially on busy days, but the attitude of the member of staff who snapped at me was not really acceptable. The menu hadn’t changed in years and is tired. The soup sandwich combo was a very small soup that was not hot enough and very plain sandwiches no trimmings. The cakes could be much better displayed to make them more appealing . Waitress had dirty fingers. It’s a gem of a place but it really needs someone to overhaul with fresh eyes.

Lovely cafe and shop. We had our dog with us so had to sit out in The Dog House. Great idea but the shed itself could do with a little updating and made cosy rather than just a couple of steel tables and seats. Makes you feel a bit more unwelcome when you have your dog! Otherwise lovely coffee and cakes!

Was recommended this place by friends. Beautiful place, food was ok, wrong order though. Very long time waiting to get served when about 5 staff were all huddled together behind the counter doing nothing. Such a shame that the staff let's this place down. Reserva una mesa ahora

Visited here many times and always been very happy . Today has changed this and none of our family will return . Totally understand the need for changes , however makes sense for staff to know this as we had 3 different sets of information...

Only visited this time for an afternoon coffee and cake. Coffee was very good as usual, my wife really enjoyed her crepe and I had a nice tray bake. Service good at all times, will be back again.

we popped in today hoping there would be a table and had a lovely lunch today with family the service and food were excellent thank you

Food is average. Service is ok. Good thing is you can take your dog as there is a separate doggie place just next to the cafe
