Ping Kun Thai Restaurant

There isn't much positive to say about this place. We decided to try it while staying in Emu Plains for a sporting event. The Curry Puffs were served stone cold, we sent them back but they came back cold again. The third time they were hot but extremely greasy from triple frying. They were obviously not made in-house but frozen. The Pad Thai was made with thin noodles, not traditional ones, and lacked vegetables. Even my 16 year old, who loves Pad Thai, chose not to eat it because it was so bad. The Larb salad seemed to have no herbs in it, and the Green Curry was just edible. It was a total waste of money and we won't be coming back. It's no surprise that there were only about 12 customers...

My family treated me to dinner at this restaurant for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, the staff seemed to lack basic customer service skills. There was a long 15-minute gap between the first meal and the second meal arriving at our table, followed by another wait for the final dishes. The waiter simply dumped the meals in front of us without any communication or eye contact. When we politely inquired about the delay, the waiter brusquely responded with a vague "soon" and made no effort to address our concerns. The food was average at best. We will not be returning to this restaurant due to the subpar service.

I paid $56 for a meal that gave me the worst case of food poisoning I've ever experienced. The food I ate, especially the questionable chicken, clearly does not meet Australia's food safety standards. It's just a matter of time before someone gets seriously ill and the restaurant is forced to close. I strongly advise against ordering the bamboo chicken.

You won't always get service with a smile but the food is good and the price is great! Not too busy and a place to have a feast - won't break the bank and will make you satisfied :)

we returned to a favourite thai, same owners and cooks we enjoyed the green curry chicken it was still as delicious as always. not many patrons this evening but we enjoyed it
