Went for a Sunday roast was extremely disappointed. The food cost us £44 and the beef had massive amounts of fat and a chewy, rubbery texture. The gravy had a strong vinegar taste and ruined the entire meal. Bar staff member didn’t know what time they closed, and overall was extremely underwhelming. The manager hasn’t even tried the food himself which I thought was concerning considering this is a large selling point for the business. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place as the food is very overpriced and ruined my girlfriends bday evening meal. I was offered half the price for the bill back and not a full refund for our meal. My boyfriend and I had a Sunday lunch here recently and the experience was amazing. We had called last minute to push our booking back which they accommodated. The food arrived quickly and tasted wonderful. We did the 2 course for £28 which was great value for money. We had the beer and pork as our roasts and both tasted amazing and the portions were just right. The service was friendly and attentive despite being busy. They also had a large range of beer which impressed my partner. I would highly recommend Sunday lunch here.
Brilliant experience. Super food, attentive staff and great relaxed ambience. Particular mention of Sophia going the extra to make things work for our family get together. Things were organised so well for us with attention to every detail. Outstanding service. Extensive menu only surpassed by the wide ranging selection of beers. All very reasonably priced.
The food options were excellent, especially the small plates which were delicious (similar to tapas style). They also have larger plates available. The service was good, with friendly staff who were happy to help explain the menu. The cocktail selection was impressive, and they also offer a variety of beers listed on a blackboard.

We were in Cambridge for a gig a the Corn Exchange, this place was nearby. It had a fantastic selection of beers cider (over 25), you could even have a sample taste before buying. The cost of a pint was pricey but just the spot for a treat. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.
Heaven for me. Excellent beer selection and the menu had so much I wanted to order. Went for the pork belly which was so succulent, proper crackling, ace gravy...this was totally yummy. If I lived in Cambridge, I'd be a regular.
The restaurant has a familiar smell reminiscent of the homeware section at John Lewis. The bar service is friendly but quite slow. However, the beer served is of very good quality.
Great service , very attentive and prompt. Beers excellent but food quite expensive for the portion size. Not the most value for money although the quality was there.

Best beers of our beer day in Cambridge. BUT the seating was uncompromising on your frame/backside. Ouch, but so worth it beer wise.
