I would have put 5 stars in total. That is, until the end of the meal when I got the check. Their service was alright as well since if I remember correctly the lady barely waited on us. Whats worse is that they had added the tip on every meal we had. Supposedly!I wasnt able to calculate who had to pay for what and I am not even sure if I got my money back for the meal from each person and which person bought which meal. I can remember the price of the plate but not the price plus the tip… and to have to add it when it wasnt even mentioned before or basically done against our will? I've had my fair share of tasty Spanish and Latin cuisine, but I can confidently say this is the best I've ever had! I've been here twice now, and I can't imagine going anywhere else for this type of food. I'm so grateful to have this hidden gem so close to home. The food is exceptionally fresh, not overly salty like many Spanish dishes tend to be, and the drink selection is excellent. Plus, the service is outstanding! You really have to check this place out—you won't be disappointed!
We had a delicious lunch at Pio Pio, but I want to provide some feedback regarding the “Lomo Saltado.” We ordered the dish expecting the traditional version, which features stir-fried beef, red onions, tomatoes, and soy sauce. However, what we received looked more like a watery yellow stew rather than the authentic Peruvian lomo saltado we were hoping for. I think it would be best not to include lomo saltado on the menu if it doesn't reflect the true original dish.
This restaurant is a true hidden gem. I consistently enjoy both the food and the service, whether I’m eating in or ordering takeout. The food is excellent, and the prices are fair for the quality you get. So far, it’s my favorite restaurant because I can explore a range of dishes from the menu instead of just sticking to one favorite, which is usually my habit.

Love this place it's been my favorite for many years I love their chicharron and their beans and rice had a few times where it took hours to deliver to us and a couple fatty chichis lol but it's been many years now though that I've been ordering from them and it only happened a couple times so i still love them! I had a delightful meal at Mr. Pio Pio. It was pleasantly tasteful and delicious food. The Arroz con Pollo meal was delicious, smooth and soothing to the tongue with a silky and saucy relish for the senses. The food is nice, hot and soothing for the belly. The appearance of it is eye catching and unique for the eyes.
The food at Pio Pio is absolutely fantastic and incredibly tasty. However, the restaurant is quite small. While waiting for my meal, I noticed a couple leaving because there were no seats available. The place was very crowded. Still, I can't stress enough how amazing the food is.
Wow, this place is amazing! We started with a fresh juice, then enjoyed appetizers and main courses—everything was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. I’m excited to make this our go-to spot. Thank you for a fantastic meal!

Place isn't great to sit at, but the food is 11/10; used to grab a plate on my walk home from Albany High, it's perfect just like that.
Really loved the Carne Asada!!! Will be a repeat customer!!!
