Pirates Pub And Grub

Wandered in here while walking around John’s Pass on Mediera Beach and were blown away by the amazing service, food and drinks! They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and accommodated. Kelsey was our server and she was just outstanding, but they really had a team concept and everyone on staff stopped by our table with a helpful suggestion, a smile and to check on us during our visit. We started with the smoked fish spread which was incredible, and added hush puppies for the table. I got the lobster roll and was so excited at the generous portion of flakey delicious lobster on it. My wife had the fried shrimp. The sides are scratch made and all awesome. This place is a MUST...

The rest of the meal was better than average pub food. But the fries were the best we've ever had. The pirate ambiance was fun. They have all kinds of things dressed up as pirates hanging around the place. Took stars off due to being understaffed and wait time for anything was way too long. Staff was more interested in tending to the bar than the tables. We will try them again and if service is improved I will update. Edit: Now that google has added the ability to rate specific services, the overall experience is five stars. The service is still a little lacking. This restaurant has a LOT of traffic and it seems to be a challenge for whoever writes the schedule to staff it properly.

This charming spot on the boardwalk is a delightful find. We loved sitting outside while watching the activities on the water, though we unfortunately didn't spot any pirates. Our waiter, Silvio, might easily be mistaken for one with his lively spirit. He provided excellent service, taking great care of us and enthusiastically recommending his favorites along with the specials and market updates. After spending a few hours on Treasure Island beach, this restaurant was the perfect way to wrap up our day.

I sat there the other afternoon and had a couple of drinks and some fries and a salad. The guy dressed up as a pirate was hilarious and really made it fun! He's a great worker! He brought in so many people off the boardwalk to buy drinks. He's a keeper!! Also a great place to watch the dolphins swimming around in the river! Reserva una mesa ahora

Phenomenal atmosphere! The best coconut shrimp on the island (believe me we tried all other restaurants Great food in general. Great staff! Low noise level for your sensitive kiddos. Overall, best experience on the island :

We enjoyed the food (Grouper platter and Crab cakes), tasty! Charlie the pirate and Amber the Wench, were wonderful host/servers. Thank you for the conversation and company. We will be back!
