Pisces - Reserva de mesa

Used to be the best fish and chips in the Yate/Sodbury area but sadly not as good now it is under new management. It's now run by the same people who run Frydays on Cranleigh Court Road and the quality of the food is now the same as Frydays but at Pisces prices. Frydays food quality is not bad but Pisces used to be another level and worth the extra expense. Little things like making their own chips from locally sourced potatoes, home made tartar sauce and mushy peas and a really great batter recipe were what made Pisces great but sadly now its just another fish and chip shop. The cod and chips were extremely expensive for such a small portion, costing £22! It would be better to reduce both the portion size and the prices. Is there really a cost of living crisis? What crisis?
