Sorry to disagree with all the 1st contributors but...We didn't exactly have high expectations but should have lowered them. Staff were not friendly at all. The place really doesn't lend itself to sitting in. Darkly lit so hard to see how clean or dirty it is but smells like no other chippy I have been before. Not good. The food was below average, and I am being as kind as I can be here. Whatever oil these use, I really don't like it. Left hungry. Not recommended.
Couldn't fault it. Fish shown to us, battered in front of us, lovely light batter, cooked to perfection, quality fish, good take away portion. I am very impressed with the quality and will definitely be going back after we more or less saw the shop and parked up, had no idea it was going to be quite as good. Friendly owner. Totally recommend this restaurant. Cheers! Started eating the chips straight away!
I needed to charge my phone last Saturday to order a ride home, so I went into the restaurant. Sam greeted me warmly and, even though I didn't order any food, he kindly offered me delicious chips on the house while my phone was charging. I will definitely be bringing my friends and family soon to try the rest of the menu. Thank you for your help, Sam.
Unfortunately i did not get large chips at best medium. People who write reviews have probably not been to another chip shop. I paid £3.70 for large chips but not worth the money. If you go to Mannings in pound lane you would get double the size from a traditional chip shop. So disappointed i will not be going back even though i live in stoneleigh. Reserva una mesa ahora
Don’t listen to the few negative trolls that reviewed this place. Too many of them around here. If you aren’t a self important troll, and you just like good honest fish and chips, then you will love the quality of the food and the local chippy vibe. My favourite affordable chippy in Kingston.
We wanted something fresh and non-greasy, Sam the host there said he could do us some freshly grilled fish and salad. He did exactly that. The food was tasty and healthy, which was exactly what we wee after. This place is just what you need when you want some comfort food on a rainy night.
