While the service and ambiance were nice, the sushi left much to be desired. The tempura shrimp in my roll tasted as though it had been fried hours before, and some pieces of the tuna were so tough that I had to spit them out. When you’re charging $18 to $20 for a roll, it should be outstanding. I don't usually write negative reviews; I prefer to give businesses an opportunity to improve. Although I'm not a big fan of sushi, my wife and neighbors were in the mood for it, so we decided to visit Pieces. Our waiter, Dillon, was incredibly helpful and suggested a variety of dishes for us to try. I ordered the Bubba Shrimp, while the others enjoyed the Firecracker, Pink Panther, and Tampa rolls. Everything was fantastic, including the Spring Rolls and Lobster Rangoon, though the Firecracker roll turned out to be much spicier than we anticipated! I visited the restaurant for dinner on a Sunday, and it was lively and full of energy. We were lucky to find seats at the sushi bar, where the chefs were welcoming and engaging. Our server provided excellent service throughout the meal. The food was superb; we ordered edamame, a vegetable roll, a California roll, and spicy tuna, and everything was delicious. We always enjoy supporting our local businesses whenever possible. We visited Pisces about a year ago, and it was great then, but they've really raised the bar! Our server, Desiree, was amazing and catered to all our needs. The food was fantastic—kudos to the chefs! Some of the most inventive sushi we've ever had. The apple cider mule was also a hit! Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend it if you're in the area!

Whenever I visit Florida, I always make a stop at this restaurant, and it never fails to impress. The sushi is outstanding, and the edamame is the perfect appetizer. The drinks are potent, and the atmosphere is just right. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting this lovely town.
