this place was found on tripadvisor before our trip to the dordogne region and just had to make a trip. my wife and I drove bikes from souillac to restaurant (we have the long way with has a bit climbing, but the...direct way is simple and picturesque.) the owners are very hands on and super friendly. eating is all a few feet prepared from the outside tables in an outside kitchen. the trout we ate came out of the pond tomorrow. the set menu is very good and contains wine. I'd go back the week if I lived here!
ignites to have discovered this jewel right in front of our doorstep. perfect location next to the pond, fantastic shadows and excellent service. we were able to observe how our fish were grilled and the food was prepared. very friendly staff. absolutely ideal to spend a Sunday dinner. very good. 20,euros for 3 courses with a glass wein. Many thanks to all staff and especially the cooking kitchen in plus 30 degrees! they are already planning our return journey.
in a steep small valley near souillac, this forellenhof is in a beautiful environment. in the summer there are simply cooked trout dishes usually grilled or smoked. they can also buy fresh trout directly from the pond to cook home...or some smoked products and local whales. Those who have a interest can catch their own fish from a beautiful shaded pond. this is not gourmet food, but it is delicious honest eating. well the short drive worth.
every year we visit the fish farm together with our children. the love that catches fresh fish, and I enjoy cooking it at the bbq later on the day. we also visit the farm for lunch. they serve a delicious 3-course menu in a...beautiful environment. the personal is very friendly and welcoming. they also sell delicious home smoked trout and trout pate. highly recommended!

Just nice places to eat and spend time there. The map is simple, it's a trout point. But what's good. You can take your time and fish yours or more on site. It is also possible to buy different preparations of smoke trout, etc... And if you don’t like fish, it makes you feel that you’re going to see the frame.
