Me and my family decided that we would eat out somewhere with a Mediterranean theme. While we were cruising around we saw Pita. So we decided to pop inside to see and we decided to eat there. I tried the food (Shawarma) and it was too bad. The fries were well seasoned and crisp but the Shawarma was beyond bad I tried the chicken and it was way too salty for my taste. Way too much onion at the bottom. My Dad said that the steak Shawarma was good but I didn't like it. I only finished the meal because I paid a good $13. Not coming back here. Period.
Driving by looking for a bite to eat and noticed that they were open. First time ever having rice with Gyros and it turned to be the best choice. Rice and gyros meat were so delicious together. There was enough meat to enjoy my Gyros the traditional way and Filipino way. It would have been 5 stars if the air conditioning was turned down a bit more. Service was great and friendly.
We had been eager to try this restaurant for a while, but unfortunately, we were disappointed. The photos looked fantastic, and the setting is charming; however, the prices are quite steep for the small portions we received in our takeout. We've sampled most of the Mediterranean restaurants in the area, and there are certainly better choices.
Pita Mediterranean Street Food is our go to weekly restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious consistently and made fresh to order. The restaurant staff is incredibly kind and management always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Highly recommend!!

I enjoyed the chicken and spiced rice, and the customer service was excellent. Unfortunately, the flavor was lacking, and the chicken didn't meet my expectations in terms of quality. I usually love street food, but this experience was disappointing.
Very clean place. Gyro was generous and very tender. The tziki sauce spot on and no over powering onions. I liked their fries. Seasoned with Mediterranean spices and nice and hot. First time I have been here and will be back again!
The best pita I've had in Chicago/Lombard! Victor made our experience unforgettable with his outstanding customer service. The staff was patient and quick, and I will definitely return the next time I have a craving or get hungry.
It’s off. The food doesn’t taste fresh. The flavors are off. Not what I would call Mediterranean food. Nice staff, friendly service.
