Portions are SMALL, prices are HIGH for what you get, and the owner has the audacity to charge 20% service to anyone who chooses to sit inside. YES, not party of 6 or more...party of 1 too! REALLY? this was our 2nd time here, as the 1st wasn 't stellar, so we decided to give this place one more try. MEH!!!! Most of the Food isn 't very fresh, or, at least does not appear to be fresh and appetizing. My shawarma was definitely cut earlier in the day or the day before, and was re heated multiple times. It was like chewing an expired gum not edible. Salad was pre made and looked weathered . Eggplant spread was fresh and delicious. Red lentil soup, while great consistency, was outrageously salty...

Food was mediocre, seems stuck in time, needs to up if to stay with times, much better Israeli style food out there. The falafel balls where okish, chicken was dry and not well spiced, same with the beef. The tahini tasted like it was out of a can and the sides where booring. Deli food for restaurant prices. The only thing good was the pita bread.

Just moved to Millburn and this place has been on my list! I was able to grab an Essex Combo Platter and a Chicken Schwarma (while also stealing a few bites of the wifeys Shakshuka). Everything was great and one of the people who greeted us, Evan, was so helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend and will be back!Food: 5/5

Relaxing and homelike environment. Im always put in a pleasant mood when entering this place, and the food maintains this mood and raises it. I'm really into the chili sauce right now. It's so good with everything! The Lamb and Beef kebabs taste and smell like great barbecue.Food: 5/5

This place is phenomenal. Closest authentic Israeli cuisine to what I've had in Israel. I order catering for both work and personal events. Always a pleasure to work with them. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!Food: 5/5
