A few weeks ago, I visited Pita Pit and it was hands down the best pita wrap I have ever had. It far surpasses any other sandwich place I have been to. The variety of options was fantastic, the portions were generous, the flavor was incredible, the customer service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. With 40 years of experience in the Foodservice industry, I can confidently say that Pita Pit is the real deal. A big thumbs up for this fantastic addition to our community.
I am so sad right now. This was literally my favorite lunch spot. I wen there today and there 's a sign in the door saying permanently closed we will miss you . I 'm devastated. Their pitas were sooooo good. Their bowls were awesome too. That location is I think what did it. New building, not many tenants, so maybe not many people knew they were there. I wish them the best and if you find a different location to open I 'll find it!
Got food from here today, using a deal I got through Groupon. Very good food! I got the Greek Pita and a Buffalo Chicken Pita. Both were filling(had the Greek for lunch, Buffalo for dinner), and delicious. I got them toasted, but you can choose not to if that's your preference. If you're in the Hauppauge area, give them a try!
Update: As of 6/23/22 they are temporarily close . My wife and I are hysterical because we knew this one was coming. Never opened and when they were they were open for about 35 min a day. Could never get food from here. Hopefully this place gets wiped out for good and a better more reliable spot opens up. Reserva una mesa ahora
The food was alright nothing special. The flavors were not strong enough to pack a good punch. I mobile ordered my food and I still had to wait a couple of minutes to get it. The inside was nice since its fairly new it's clean.
We truly love there food always fresh and they let you customize it too your liking . Family own and operated business the staff is great Love coming here.
One of my favorite places to eat! Just came now to find out they have gone out of business! I'm so upset. Will miss this great food and great people.
