I usually go to South Yarra for souvlaki, which takes me 30 minutes to get to. Oakleigh was too busy for my liking, but my colleague told me that her husband opened a souvlaki restaurant called Pita Wrap It in Huntingdale, where I used to live. I live in Dandenong, so it only takes me 10 minutes to drive to Huntingdale. There are mostly kebab restaurants in Dandenong, but since I grew up in Oakleigh where souvlaki was our go-to takeaway, I have to say that Pita Wrap It beats all the kebab places in Dandenong. This place has amazing food, probably the best souvs in Melb. The service though leaves little to be desired. We have been there countless times and have had to listen to profanities being yelled out by the owner. There is never any acknowledgement of your return or even a thank you. We do not understand how such a busy operation can bring about misery in people?????

Amazed this place hasn't gotten more reviews! The food here is fantastic and the service is fast and friendly too. If you're after authentic charcoaled Gyros, away from the hussle and bussle of the Oakleigh precinct you can't go wrong here. I'm a regular here and my fave is the mixed platter, the chips are out of his world.

Absolutely love this place. Food is fantastic, matched with their welcoming customer service. You can tell they love what they do, and love being there, it reflects on the quality of the food, the service, the hygiene. Would recommend this place to everyone. Reserva una mesa ahora

One of the better souvlakia in the area and away from the mayhem of downtown Oakleigh. All meat gyros is done over charcoal, not overly seasoned so you can taste the chicken/pork/lamb. Great chips also.
