Over the years many memories come and go, but the times I spent with my dad at Pizza-A-Go-Go have never faded. When walking toward the big window that had the logo on it, I could see Frank throwing the crust that was always much bigger than Frank, which made me laugh every time. The smell of the pizzas cooking and the smile on Frank’s face were some of the things that I looked for each time. If I didn 't see Frank in the window, we would wait to see him before going in. It was a tradition. Me and my dad would sit at the counter waiting in anticipation for a yummy slice, which my dad would always share with me before going home. He would say, 'Ok, Jeff, remember... we don 't know what happene...
During our visit to my brother and sister-in-law, who live nearby, I was thrilled they recommended this restaurant. I appreciate the simplicity of their menu, which features only pizza and fountain soda. The pizza was outstanding—I loved everything about it, from the crust and cheese to the sauce and pepperoni. Kaitlyn, whose name I might be misspelling, did an excellent job serving our group of four. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. The only potential downsides are that they only accept cash and checks and that they are closed on Wednesdays. I highly recommend Pizza A Go Go for their fantastic pizza at unbeatable prices! It’s a great way to support local small business owners. The only downside for me is that they only accept cash, and I rarely carry cash these days. This has often led me to choose a different pizza place instead. To the owners: please consider implementing a cashless payment option like Square or Clover. I understand there may be a transaction fee, and I'm okay with that—I would gladly pay a small surcharge for the convenience of using my debit card rather than having to stop by the bank every time I'm craving some delicious, hand-tossed New York-style pizza.
I had an excellent experience at this pizza restaurant. The pizza was outstanding, and it's clear they have plenty of experience in the kitchen. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, located in a lovely neighborhood. The staff were very kind and accommodating; they even carried my pizza to my car since I'm handicapped! The homemade pizza dough is tossed by hand, showcasing over 60 years of culinary experience. The place is spotlessly clean, and the prices are lower than most other establishments while maintaining top-notch quality. I will definitely be returning soon and highly recommend it. Bravo! We had a great experience with service at Pizza A Go Go. But better than that was the actual Pizza….all we can say is WOW! This wins the best Pizza in St. Louis for us. It is a drive, but we’ll worth it, absolutely delicious NY Style Pizza, and my husband is from NY. We will be back again and again!
