The atmosphere was a little cafeteria like. Big open space with lots of people talking. About 5 employees stood about 8 feet from us our whole meal talking and laughing yet it took 15 minutes to take our payment once server brought our check because she was service multiple tables at the same time. My meat pizza was fantastic, I loved every bite of it, crust was perfect, cheese was right on and sauce was sweet and on point. However, my wife's Margherite pizza was very bland. Tomato sauce tasted like watered down tomatoes and the mozzarella was cold and almost tasteless.
We make it a point to visit this restaurant every year during our summer job in Keystone, SD. The food is absolutely incredible! We started with the portobello mushroom appetizer, which was packed with amazing flavors. For our main dish, we had the pesto and pepperoni pizza, and it was fantastic. We also indulged in the blueberry calzone for dessert, which was out of this world! It’s a 135-mile trip for us, but it’s definitely worth every penny and every mile. The service was excellent as well! We’ll definitely try to come back before summer ends.
This was a busy place and I was excited to eat it, even though the large 14 in pizzas were very overpriced for what the quality of the pizza. It was undercooked imo and same for the wings. We ordered ranch and BBQ and we had to pay $1 each for the sauces. The BBQ was fruity like raspberry vinegaret. The ranch was super thick and it just tasted like it was made from mayonnaise with almost no seasoning. Btw the price for 3 pizzas and a 12ct wing was $82. Way too pricey for what it was. Wings were not crispy whatsoever. ?
I lived in Italy for 3 years and frequently make my way back there on vacation, so my pizza standards and expectations are very high. This place knocked it out of the park. All of it was delicious, and I easily could have ate more. A must visit if you are driving or live here. Service and atmosphere are also excellent. Relatively cheap as well, 40$ for 3 people. You have to stop here!

In town for one night only. Took a chance on this and really glad we did. We travel with our Labrador and the accommodated us on their outdoor patio so she could join us. Service and food were excellent. Lauren, our server, was attentive but not hovering. She brought water for our pup, took our orders and food came quickly. Wood fired pizza was excellent!
We were traveling through the state and decided to give Pizza Carrello a try based on the reviews we read. We're so glad we did! The pizza was delicious, the staff was friendly, and our food was delivered quickly. There was also a lovely outdoor seating area.
Always great food and friendly employees. It can sometimes take awhile to get your food but I feel like thats expected with pizza.
Nothing here fails to impress. Pizza, wings, salads, and appetizers are all sensational. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
