This place had been recommended to us, so after a long day of travel we dropped our bags and came straight here. It instantly became one of our favorite places in town, one of the few where we dined multiple times during our stay. And we weren't the only ones -- they tend to book up every night, so make reservations, especially in the busy summer. Each time we were there we saw sad people turned away. Anyway, to the restaurant itself. It's a lovely little place on one of the pedestrian paths that lead to Place aux Herbes, so it's just dripping with atmosphere. One of our favourites in Uzès though we haven't eaten there for a while though we usually get a cheery wave when passing the take-away window. We fancied a change for lunch today, so booked a table during my first walk into the market this morning - indoors, as it was extremely windy. Following the usual friendly welcome, I ordered the duck with salad and chips, which I often order there, and my husband had a mozzarella salad from their newish mozarella choices; also newish is having a dish of the day, which today was confit de canard, duck, with a purée of celery, obviously very popular with the lunchtime crowd. A group of us came for dinner here after visiting the Wine Fair (it is most advisable to book tables here during the Summer season) - the pizzas are excellent, the moules and frites superb - all delivered to the tables piping hot and with Style!! Wine available by the glass or pitcher - both house red and white are fine!!! Recommended - this is a repeat visit, a year after our previous visit!!!
My partner and I came here and the restaurant was full - so we had coffee while we waited for a table. I had a salmon pizza and my partner had breast of duck which looked lovely and was a huge peice of meat. Good atmosphere in the restaurant and friendly service perhaps explaining why the place was full on a mid week evening !.

Not being a great pizza fan, I wasn't expecting to enjoy this place, but I have to admit the pizzas were very good, cooked in a wood fire pizza oven. Staff very friendly,

My husband and I both had pizza cooked on their wood fire. The crust was lovely and thin and the toppings generous. We would go again if back in Uzes.
very satisfied with the pasta and andouillettes, pizza seemed very good, fast and friendly service. melt with delicious cataignes.
