Pizza Express needs to review its menu Positives Great location Attentive staff Lots on the menu Easy to book a table on the app Popular with children Negatives: Thumb size portion of chicken in the £15 chicken pasta pesto mostly a dish full of sauce little of anything else Bland pizza £16 prawns with no flavour Sad to see a very large company cutting back on the quality of the meals when it’s not a cheap meal £15 £17) In a cost of living crisis the restaurants that serve up quality food decent portions will survive, the rest will fold, customers will go elsewhere

My wife and I visit most weeks and it is always excellent, efficient and friendly service and well made pizza. It has a good vibrant atmosphere. The upstairs room has a great view of St Mary's Church. The prices do seem to have increased in recent months but that is the case in a number of restaurants/bars.

The food was very nice no complaints at all but appalling service. It was unbelievably slow, can't believe how long we were kept waiting. There were plenty of staff on so no excuse really. The desserts/coffees took forever to be served. Disappointing.

The food was delicious but it was a really long wait. One of the waiters didn't even notice that we had arrived, when we came in and the other continued to serve. A small acknowledgement that we had arrived would have been nice. Reserva una mesa ahora

We visit at least twice a month and can’t knock it for a quick family meal. My 4 year old daughter loves it, great staff and decent food. The bill always seems 10% 20% more than expected though.

This restaurant is the perfect place to meet up with friends and enjoy amazing food! The service is always top-notch and the atmosphere is lovely. We will definitely be returning!

A brilliant night with 10 friends. Food delicious staff friendly and helpful. Though a big party they had no problem accommodating us. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Took a chance to see if they had a table and luckily for us they had. We were served quickly and efficiently by friendly helpful staff and we had 3 delicious pizzas. Reserva una mesa ahora

Booked a table online 6:45 turned up, said they was full till 8, looked pretty dead inside tbf, not happy , shouldn’t have the booking online if this happens

The pizzas we ordered were very poor and the chips were just reconstituted potato. Probably the worst pizzas we've ever had.
