Pizza Express - Reserva de mesa

A lot of restaurants could learn from the staff here I eat out a fair bit. But in recent months many places have been very disappointing because of their service not so Pizza Express Stamford. The service here is standout. From the minute you are greeted at the door, to the pizza chefs (on show) smiling and twirling their pizzas. It is a busy place, but service is always prompt, friendly and helpful. 8 of us went for dinner before an event. The food mainly pizzas, sides, and puddings was very tasty. The building is lovely and it is always busy so has a good atmosphere. They are reliably excellent. Well done if only other places were as friendly and reliably as good. Well done.

Food was fine when it arrived and a nice enough bottle of wine. Service was very slow, there only appeared to be two people in the kitchen but given that nearly all of the menu is either preprepared or pizza that shouldn’t be too much of a problem on a Tuesday lunchtime. Our main problem was the unrelenting noise due to the hard surfaces it was mostly the noise of the kitchen rather than the guests. It made talking at our table extremely taxing and quite an unpleasant experience. Food was fine but atmosphere poor.

Pizza was delicious, fresh, service lovely, but prices have gone up so much, it can not be considered family friendly anymore. Lots of our friends no longer go due to same reason. You can eat restaurant meal for the same or lower price in other places in town. They used to have regular special offers, vouchers if booked online. They have a new app now to collect stamps but you would have to spend hundreds of pounds to benefit from them. Unfortunately we won't be going very often like before.

First time at this particular Pizza Express, ordered Polla Forza and my husband had this and pepperoni a twin combination you can have) Both Excellent pizzas, cooked to perfection, ate the lot is was delicious, staff were quick, we were seated quickly as we asked not to be near children- noise factor and they sat us in a quiet area, thank you. Located just off the River bridge so you are in a lovely location. Will be back again to eat here when next in town. Reserva una mesa ahora

My party of 7, including 2 children, went for an early dinner on a weekday after watching a local matinee. Despite being early for our reservation, we were greeted warmly by a friendly waitress. Our orders were promptly taken and delivered. The food met our expectations of the usual high standard at Pizza Express. Overall, it was a good dining experience and a convenient family-friendly choice.

We ate here today and it was very good. When we arrived we were quickly shown a table in the main area overlooking the river. The food was excellent, I ordered the barbecue pizza and my husband the Paneer Tikka, the pizzas tasted lovely and were cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and professional.

We made a reservation for four people one evening and had a great experience. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and there were plenty of staff working to ensure everything ran smoothly. The atmosphere was pleasant and it was easy to find something we all liked on the extensive menu.

We were staying in a Stamford hotel for a couple of nights, so decided to have dinner at the Pizza Express for one of those evenings. We didn't have any reason to regret it. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was good, and staff were efficient and very pleasant. Reserva una mesa ahora

PizzaExpress hosted my nine-year-old sons birthday party with his friends. The team were absolutely brilliant. The chef was very patient and everyone were very welcoming. They even prepared an extra pizza and doughballs for my daughter who wasn’t really involved.

A family of six had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff was attentive and the food was fantastic. We look forward to returning in the future.
