My wife and I attended the restaurant early on a Sunday evening without reservation. We were welcomed and seated to the rear of the restaurant by the friendly staff. The limited menu was inundated with Pizza options leaving little room for other dishes. We started...by sharing the fried calamari for entree as there was no bruschetta on the menu, which I found very odd. The serve was generous but tasteless. For mains I had the lamb tagliatelle ragout. The main serving was entree size but as I wasn’t overly hungry it filled the void. The lamb was soft and fell apart easily. The overall taste was however lacking. My wife had the Spaghetti bolognese which she said was the best she had ever had....
I love Fitzroy! I love Brunswick St, Johnston St and Smith St as my favourite haunt for food when I’m in Melbourne for work. This brave restaurant has opened next to the ever popular Mario’s a Melbourne institution. I had walked past Farro on...a few occasions and the rustic interior has a warm and enticing feel. Upon entering I was greeted warmly and shown to my table. I ordered the lamb ragu. The pasta was the perfect texture for me and there was generous amount of lamb and the flavours were delicately balanced resulting in a pleasurable experience all round. I can recommend Farro for a relaxed evening meal.
A group of 6 of us dined here and most people enjoyed their food. Is this the best pizza ever? No, but its not the worst. The Bufala Pizza was lacking in flavour in the sauce, so made it kind of boring. But the pizza...dough itself was lovely. 2 people had items from the Vegan menu and they were very very pleased. The staff here are really lovely and attentive. Definitely worth a visit.
We like simple traditional Italian pizza and Farro's hit the mark. Margarhita and Napolitana, our favourites, were excellent crust and balanced topping, good size and light eating. The restaurant has a family kitchen feel, good table service with attentive staff, drinks were a bit pricey....We enjoyed our visit and would go back.

What a feast we had here pizza, gnocchi, salad, polenta chips and the arancini balls...were all amazing. Options for everyone too; veggie, vegan and meat eaters were all happy with their range of choice and the food they then ate. Friendly service and a...great ambiance in this quirkily decorated restaurant.
Allergy friendly pizza, even a separate vegan menu. Fresh, thin crusted pizza made right. I love the nutella and raspberry calzone (and it come in dairy free version too, perfect for me!
I went to Pizza Farro and tried their pizza and pasta. The pizzas were decent, but the pasta was nothing special, even though it was gluten-free. I did enjoy the polenta fries though.
exquisite pizza. The spelt pizza base was delicious, we'll be visiting again. also the polenta chips were the best I've ever had.

The pizzas are OK, but the pastas were very ordinary, even considering the gluten-free constraints.
Pizza was good but pasta & gnocchi were nothing to write home about.
