When my delivery arrived, two items were missing. I called to let them know, thinking they would simply send the missing items. But that was not the case. Carmen is definitely my favorite place! I've been working in Carteret, NJ for about a month now, and this postcard was in my hotel room—now I understand why it’s so well-regarded. I discovered this place, and if you're a fan of a good cheesesteak, you won't be disappointed. I think they make their own bread here. I'm surprised by the negative reviews I've seen, but most of them are quite old, so they must have made some changes because I've only had wonderful experiences and great service every time I've visited.
I ordered a pizza and waited two hours for delivery. When it finally arrived, I opened the box to find that all the toppings and cheese had slid to one side of the pizza. I also ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich, but the bread was burnt. I won't be coming back again.

The food is fantastic! The pizza was cooked to perfection—just a sprinkle of garlic powder and I'm hooked. They also have a banquet hall upstairs for my son's birthday party, and the prices are very reasonable.
