Pizza Pasta Bene - Reserva de mesa

Whilst staying in Sydney, my friend and I were ecstatic to be within walking distance of an authentic Italian restaurant to buy pasta and garlic bread. I ordered the Ravioli Quattro Formaggi (four cheese ravioli with pumpkin and sage butter), my friend ordered spaghetti bolognaise and we shared garlic bread. With the $24 price tag for my ravioli, I was paying basically $2 per ravioli with unflavoured boiled pumpkin throughout and average butter sauce. Poor! The garlic bread was on fresh bread, but was lacking garlic.. Disappointing. The spaghetti was a very generous serve! But my friend said the flavour was lacking. All in all, a disappointing experience.

Dropped in for a quick meal as just moved into the area. Had read the reviews for here and the 'sister' restaurant right next door Cala Luna - and this was more appealing.Great atmosphere - good for dine and dash, or family or a nice meal for two. Attentive staff - that weren't overly attentive.Calamari (my go to) was good with a very garlic aoli (which I love). Had the mushroom rissotto and that was really rich.Fortunately they are happy to put leftovers in a takeaway container.Will be back.

Have been here twice now and once for takeaway. It isn't that good if I'm honest, I found the spaghetti meatballs to be quite bland in all honesty. I also found it frustrating that there is no salt and pepper on the table so I had to keep asking the waiter to come over, as well as Parmesan you never feel like you can ask for how much you want. The pizza bases are quite nice but again kind of bland in all honesty

I can't remember a worse dinning experience. After waiting an hour and a half for delivery, the marinara pasta was rubbery and tasteless - it must have been frozen and old. When calling to check on the progress of the delivery, they lied about it being en route. 30 mins later they told me the same story. Absolutely pathetic. It's now almost 9pm and walking in North Sydney to find an alternative Reserva una mesa ahora

Wouldn't call this Italian, it's so bland, been here twice in the last six months, and it's very disappointing. Overpriced for poor quality food, rude young men behind the counter, little understanding of what customer service is. My nonna would would beat them black and blue to be served such food.

Perfetto.  Great pizzas, a bit expensive, but in my opinion the best pizzas in Sydney. There is a good Italian wine list and the desserts are nice.  Kids friendly, and still good venue.  Accommodate large groups easy with no notice, so good fit for parties.

Great gem in north sydney! Really enjoyed the huge portion of pasta at this small Italian restaurant. The wine and cheese platter was a delight :) Love the great hit of chilli in the pasta, service quick and friendly. Would definitely go back!

Hard to believe someone compared their pizza to Pizza Hut! I'm Italian and very selective on pizza, I have to say that Pizza Pasta Bene has some of the best Reserva una mesa ahora

Found this place on a night where we weren't feeling like a long walk from where we were stayingIt was only 4 doors down.
