We were at meetings in Springfield, IL and being fond of our Peoria and Morton Pizza Ranch we decided to stop for dinner after meeting. We were going to Golden Corral next door but they were so crowded we decided to visit the Pizza Ranch next door. Now we know why they had a crowd and Pizza Ranch didn't. This visit was at 4:34 pm. Stopped for lunch on September 21 2022. Place was busy and seemed short staffed. Lady ringing customers up was pulling double duty also busting tables. All the staff busy putting out pizzas chicken ect. All were very friendly and helpful.i left very impressed. They definitely earned their pay.(I think they should all get a raise.)Looking forward to returning if this is the way it will be. Too bad I can only give all of them 5 stars.
I eat here regularly because I love their chicken and desert pizza. I only rate this 2 star anymore is because the food bar and desert bar are constantly empty and you have to be on watch for food refills. The staff is usually nice and will try to help when you complain but this is a reoccurring issue I have noticed. You can get a better deal without having to be on watch for your food in the larger chain buffet next door.
The food was good and the folks were very friendly however, I thought it to be a bit pricey for the small selection that was offered at lunch time, but it was good.

Slow service when first arriving but quick to recover after sitting down to eat. Food was good for a pizza buffet, and over all had a decent atmosphere.
Amazing food. Waiting staff is so friendly and such a cool atmosphere, has a rustic rodeo theme and plays older country 5 out of 5.
Have the best fried chicken. Pizza's are good but don't always have regular kinds on the bar. Good place to go. Very friendly.
